The charge against Amy Locane-Bovenizer stems from a 2010 accident that killed a 60-year-old woman. The actress faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.

Somerset County prosecutors say Locane-Bovenizer's blood-alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit when the crash occurred on a dark two-lane road in Montgomery Township. The defense concedes she was driving under the influence, but claims a woman was chasing her for several miles after an earlier accident, forcing her to drive above the speed limit.

Jurors are due to resume deliberations on Tuesday morning.
