This week's #BlueFriday honoree is a special NJ State Trooper who dedicated his life to being an officer after a dear friend died in the line of duty.

NJ State Trooper Ryan Fenimore was inspired to become a trooper after his friend, Trooper Marc Castellano died as the result of injuries received in the line of duty. At the funeral, Ryan spoke with Marc's wife and family and decided to dedicate himself to becoming a NJ State Trooper in Marc's honor.

Now Ryan also raises money for the Marc Castellano Fund. Ryan will be holding a charity softball game on Friday, September 15 at Jackson High School, where they both attended, from roughly 3-5:30 p.m.

It's an amazing story and we we wanted to take the time and thank Ryan Fenimore as our #BlueFriday honoree for his efforts and dedication to a fallen friend.

You can watch Ryan's call in to the show this morning in the YouTube clip above.
