Is New Jersey at risk for a bioterror attack?  A new report out by Trust For America's Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation shows that a decade's worth of progress could be going in reverse.

"Federal and state budget cuts are threatening the nation's ability to respond to natural disasters and bioterror attacks" said Rich Hamburg, deputy director for Trust For America's Health.

He says the concern is that New Jersey may not be as prepared today for a possible anthrax attack or pandemic flu outbreak as it was a few years ago.

"Public health emergency grants and also hospital preparedness programs have been cut for at least 4 or 5 years running and in New Jersey funding went down for public health 15% last year...that all has a severe impact on the ability to protect residents for these types of threats."
