Run, Walk, or Stroll into 2026 with New Year’s Day 5K and 2K Pup Strut

Set the tone for 2026 your way — running or walking a 5K or bringing your four-legged fur baby along for a 2K strut, all while raising money for a great cause!

New Year’s Day 5K and 2K Pup Strut, organized by MegaBite Events, raises money for Camp Quality New Jersey, a nonprofit that gives children facing cancer the chance to just be kids again. All event participants receive a one-of-a-kind finisher medal, a long-sleeve tech T-shirt, and a hot, delicious empanada from I&V Delights.

Whether you're vying for a personal best, enjoying fresh air with your pup, or walking with friends and family, you'll be in good company at Veterans Park in Hamilton Township. Organizers suggest using the Kuser Road entrance and looking for the start/finish line past the skate park by the covered patio/gazebo. Both races start at 11 a.m. Jan. 1, 2026.
