
Midtown Construction Shed Collapses, Injuring 4

Authorities say a construction shed apparently collapsed in New York City, injuring four people, and that high winds may have been a factor.

The Fire Department says three people were taken to a hospital Friday morning. Their conditions were not immediately known. A firefighter was also taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
CBS New York says some lanes of traffic were closed nearby in midtown Manhattan as debris covered 7th Avenue and West 40th Street.
The Department of Buildings issued a warning to property owners Friday to secure construction sites and buildings as high winds whip through the area
