July is National Ice Cream Month – Who Has New Jersey’s Best Ice Cream?

Just like pizza, everyone has a favorite ice cream parlor or roadside stand they’d consider the best in Jersey.

And, according to this, since July is National Ice Cream month, declared by President Ronald Reagan some 30 years ago, and National Ice Cream Day is the third Sunday of the month (July 21st this year), who's do you prefer?

Or how about this. Which do you prefer: hard or soft?

Ever since I’ve lived here (some 26 years now), I’ve always been a fan of Jersey Freeze by Freehold Raceway.

Probably less about the selection and more about the fact that it’s a Jersey institution.

But there’s always going to be some debate over which parlor has the best and most varied selection of hard ice cream as well.
