The deadline to file an appeal for individual assistance and have all documentation handed in to FEMA's offices is Wednesday April 30th. All paperwork must be filed by this day to find out if you are eligible for more assistance than you were originally granted or denied.

If you're a homeowner who is waiting for an insurance settlement or in need of more funds for repairs, that information would need to submitted by this deadline. If you have any questions on how to file or what is need to file an appeal, you can refer to your case worker that has, or will be assigned to you.

This is the absolute final deadline so FEMA urges everyone who is even thinking of an appeal, to make sure to file all the proper documentation necessary. The number to call is 1-800-621-3362.
