FBI Searches Car in Burlington City

Officials are not saying why authorities have barricaded several streets in a southern New Jersey neighborhood.

FBI spokesman Bryan Travers says agents are on the scene in Burlington City. But Travers would not say why. A resident told The Associated Press authorities told her they believe a bomb may be in a car with Virginia license plates near the intersection of on Columbus Road and Independence Drive.

Television footage on WPVI-TV in Philadelphia showed police checking a white car outside a home. All its doors and trunk were open.
