A restaurant closing can almost feel like losing a friend.

You become familiar with the staff, you pick out a favorite dish, and you have the comfort of going somewhere familiar.

After just opening in February, the owners of Covo Italian Steakhouse have decided to close their doors for good.

The restaurant fused rustic Italian warmth with classic American steakhouse confidence, delivering an elevated yet intimate dining experience.

The menu included premium steaks, Italian-influenced sides, handmade pastas, and a curated raw bar, paired with signature cocktails, a wine list, and martinis.

The closing announcement was made on the steakhouse’s social media pages.

“After much thought, we’ve made the difficult decision to permanently close Covo. Serving this community has been an honor, and we’re deeply grateful for the support, smiles, and shared meals over the years,” the staff posted on Instagram.

“Thanks for the memories, we're honored to have served Englishtown & Marlboro.”
