The squeaky clean image of one of New Jersey's longest serving members of congress continues to tarnish this morning.

Rob Andrews is doing little to clean it up. He's come under fire for using 12-thousand dollars in campaign money to fly himself and others for so-called business meetings in California. That trip just happened to coincide with a recording session for his daughter, who is an aspiring singer.

Andrews is now refusing to say who he had these supposed business meetings with by citing privacy issues.

I've known and interacted with Andrews for years. He's always seemed like a good guy, but this brewing scandal can't be ignored. That is, however, exactly what Andrews seems to be doing. He is better than that, and the people he represents in South Jersey deserve an explanation.
