Caught on video: NJ police search for alleged car thief

VICTORY GARDENS — Police are asking for the public's assistance in tracking down an alleged car thief who was identified through surveillance video.

According to New Jersey State Police, the suspect has been identified as Tyson G. Coney, AKA “Swerve.” Police believe he allegedly stole a car from a location in Victory Gardens. He remains at large.

Police are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Trooper Gallant of the NJ State Police Netcong Station at 973-347-1000. Police say anonymous tips are also welcome.
