Bomb Threat A False Alarm At Linden Theater

A bomb threat made to a Linden movie theater turned out to be a false alarm.

Police evacuated the AMC Aviation 12 on Route 1 in Linden early on Saturday night after the theater received a call that a bomb was hidden somewhere inside the building.

Bomb sniffing dogs were brought in and the theaters remained closed for the rest of the evening.

"Our search turned up nothing," a police spokesman told the Star Ledger
