New Jersey 101.5 was proud to be a part of the 6th annual Birdies for the Brave golf outing held at TPC Jasna Polona in Princeton on Monday October 24th. Club members, troops and non-members all played together on this world renowned and highly prestigious course and in turn funds raised were donated to the troops and their families.

The Jersey Prize Team captured some of the highlights on video which included a cannon shot to begin the outing, the lift off of a black hawk helicopter on the practice tee and a  landing from a paratrooper in New Jersey's National Guard.

During the course of the event golfers were able to meet some of America's finest on some of the different holes and handle military equipment. Once the event was over golfers could spend some time inside the mansion and bid on some of the sports memorabilia available, which included signed photographs from Eli Manning, Yogi Berra and golfer Bubba Watson. All proceeds are donated to the troops relief fund.

New Jersey 101.5's own Big Joe Henry mced the dinner following the outing and also in attendance at the event was Adjutant General Glenn K. Reith from the New Jersey National Guard and Golf Professional Jim Colbert.
