Authorities: New Jersey police fatally shoot man
WINSLOW, N.J. (AP) -- Authorities say police in southern New Jersey have fatally shot a man.
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office says 42-year-old Daniel Pierre was shot as three officers responded to a call to a home.
Authorities have not said why he was shot or how many officers fired at Pierre.
He was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden and died at about 9:30 a.m. Friday, a half-hour after the shooting.
None of the officers were hurt.
