Anything wrong with a pizza place giving out free slices to police?

Locally famous DeLorenzo's Pizza on Sloan Avenue in Hamilton is trying to show some appreciation to our men in blue. For the month of September they are giving out free slices to any uniformed police officer. Rick DeLorenzo says he's tired of hearing all the bad things said about officers and the violence and ugliness directed their way.

"I never experienced anything but good things from the police officers that I've known. I wanted to do something to change the flow, give them a little positive reinforcement."

Most but not everybody is happy about it. From the haters gonna hate category there are those who feels cops are not trustworthy or that no police officer should be entitled to something even as little as a free slice of pizza. How do you feel about the giveaway?
