Taste Of Home Chef Michael Barna, Dennis Malloy, and Ray The Prize Guy showed New Jersey some quick, easy and healthy recipes sure to make your mouth water!

Cooking for some may be the ultimate dirty word as they begrudgingly look through the fridge and cabinets seemingly hundreds of times before calling for local take out. While some others love to cook but with our increasingly busy schedules we only have time to nuke and go or even worse fast food drive thru. Luckily Taste Of Home has the answer and New Jersey 101.5 with Ray The Prize Guy and Dennis Malloy were in Edison at the Pines Manor for the Taste of Home Cooking School.

Over 700 New Jerseians who abhor cooking to those who have an all out love for cooking were storming the doors over 2 hours before the event started. V.I.P ticket holders were treated to a cocktail hour hosted by Dennis and Judi's own Dennis Malloy and Chef Michael Barna, bringing the  guests on an exclusive backstage tour before the show started at 7 pm. Once 7 o'clock  hit Ray The Prize Guy took the stage as  the emcee for the evening and Chef Michael immediately got to work on one of his five star cheesecake recipes, showing the crowd how to make his world famous Peanut Butter Pretzel Cheese Cake.

The night was much more than the great fresh food provided by Wegmans for Chef Michael Barna, it was also about amazing prizes! Every 10-15 minutes a new name was drawn and winners were treated to a wide array of door prizes from wonderful gift bags from all of our great sponsors for the event to Taste of Home products, and one lucky winner recieved a new stove from Barry's Appliance! This was truly a very fun and amazing night and with the quickness, ease and shear deliciousness of the recipes many who loathed cooking were admittedly converted and those who loved cooking now realize however busy their day is they still have time to whip something fun and healthy up in no time.
