A mom’s tearful plea to get help for heroin-addicted son
The heroin epidemic is NJ is real. How real? You don't need much more proof than this call from a desperate mother in south Jersey who was looking for help for her son.
While I was joined by the Center for Great Expectations, a mom named Kathy called in with a serious problem. Her son is 28-years-old and addicted to heroin.
Kathy was extremely emotional as she explained that her son is an addict. Kathy stated "He's addicted to heroin and I can't get him to stop."
This is a tough story. Kathy speaks for many mothers across the state who are fighting to keep their children alive and away from drugs.
