Nothing to see here, officer.

The state Supreme Court just ruled that police can once again search your car without a warrant, as long as they have reasonable suspicion to believe illegal substances or crime evidence may be inside.

While I don't support this ruling, I'm happy to say I have nothing to hide. Here are five things police would find if they checked my car right now:

1. Good tunes. An essential part of my commute.

2. Long board. My coworkers can attest to the fact that I've rarely gone anywhere in the last six months without this extra set of wheels.

3. Dashboard donut. Once part of a friendship key chain, this delicious-looking ornament brightens my day.

Lighting equipment. Jim Gearhart calls my soft boxes "cat carriers," but the officer who pulled me over last summer said he thought they were bombs.

Jersey pride. Never leave the house without it. (And yes, that's a deer on the patch.)
