The 2014 NHL Playoffs have been nothing short of amazing with so many great series so far. The New York Rangers are involved in a heated series with the Pittsburgh Penguins. While the Boston Bruins are in the middle of a heated rivalry with the Montreal Canadiens. Both series have been tough and both have been have had their share of controversial moments revolving around, of all things, water bottles.  During Game 6 of the Rangers/Penguins series, Rangers netminder Henrik Lundqvist  sprayed Pens' captain Sidney Crosby with his water bottle as he skated off the ice.

During the Boston Bruins game, Bruins enforcer Shawn Thornton sprayed Canadiens superstar P.K. Subban with a water bottle from the bench.

The great battles of the  2014 NHL playoffs may be known more for the water wars than for the great play. You can see both moments in the videos below.
