Yesterday, I thought a few spots might get to near 80.

The past weekend worked out spectacularly with high temperatures both days in the low to middle 80s.  It was cooler near the beach and boardwalk.

Thursday's high temperatures reached the upper 70s, 80 at Newark.

Wednesday's high temperatures reached the low to middle 80s, as warm as 84 at Newark, Trenton, and Wrightstown.

Tuesday's high temperatures were a few degrees warmer than expected.

High temperatures yesterday reached as warm as 84 at Newark, but it was mostly in the upper 70s to near 80 later.

The weekend forecast worked out reasonably well with low to mid 70s Saturday and mid to upper 70s Sunday.

While it stayed cloudy in the most of the state Thursday, sunshine broke through from northeastern counties.

As expected, yesterday's temperatures, which were mild to start, fell into the 50s and low 60s during the day with a gusty windy.

Well I thought yesterday we would have a shot at reaching 90 degrees, and while we came close, it didn't happen.  However, it did reach 89 degrees at Atlantic City International Airport and 88 degrees at Newark Liberty International Airport...
