What do you do with Brian Williams if you’re NBC? That’s what the Peacock network is trying to figure out after several weeks of negotiations.

Do you keep the Ridgewood New Jersey native in the network anchor chair despite his misrepresenting the facts in stories that he was covering?

Do you give him another role within the network so you don’t lose such a big name talent? After all, we are a forgiving society after we tear you down and the network will definitely have enough hype in their PR machine to build him back up.

Or do you simply cut him loose and no longer tarnish the image of integrity that is so vital for network news especially at a time when there is so much misinformation out there.

Personally I think the third option is the best. Williams is too good and too much of a name not to land on his feet. By cutting him loose, NBC news maintains its integrity while Williams will get a chance to start fresh somewhere else where he will never misremember anything again. There will be too many people watching and verifying his every word.

What do you think should happen to Brian Williams?
