Trevelise: We can't fight a civil war and a war on terror

While some in New Jersey were deciding what stance to take during the National Anthem, terrorists continue to take actions of war against us with explosive devices found in Elizabeth, a pipe bomb in Seaside Park, and another device inside a dumpster in Chelsea.

We cannot and should not be fighting a civil war as well as a war on terror. God forbid any damage should come from any of these terroristic attempts, all races will be affected. We are the UNITED States of America and it's time we take a STAND together.

We need each other more than ever right now. Think about that and what we're about as the National Anthem is playing. Instead of focusing on the past, focus on the present and future. That we can change!

Each and every one of us needs to step up and take care of each other just as we did in the aftermath of Sept 11. Can you believe it's been 15 years? It seems like yesterday.

Now it's time we stand united and take care of tomorrow.
