Volkswagen Shows the Importance of Keeping Your Eyes on the Road [VIDEO]

Volkswagen produced a great video that shows why you need to keep your eyes on the road and off of your phones while driving.

A group of people were invited into a theater and as the film begins, it shows someone getting behind the wheel, starting their car and driving off. As the car drives down the road in the film, all of a sudden, everyone's phones in the theater start to ring and the group watching the movie all start scrambling for their phones. As they all start to grab their phones, the driver loses control of the wheel and crashes into a pole.

As the shocking moment unfolds on screen the members of the audience start to realize the tie in and look visibly shaken. The producers of the short film make the point that even taking your eyes off the road for a split second can lead to disaster.
