Trying to figure out high temperatures sometimes is an adventure. It certainly was yesterday. It did not get out of the mid to upper 40s in Central and Northern New Jersey, while it reached 60 in Atlantic City.  So, my upper 50s and low 60s in parts of South Jersey worked out.

I said it was going to colder up north, and it was much cooler than that yesterday.

Temperatures today will certainly be cooler.  It'll be mostly in the 40s.  Somebody could reach 50, I suppose with more arriving clouds in South Jersey.  There are already some clouds present in Central and Northern counties

Some rain develops this evening and especially during the night ahead with daybreak low temperatures from 42 to 52.

Now, the forecast challenge for Saturday is when does the rain taper off?  I think it will be tapering off before the morning is over.  In fact, it may be over already in parts of Central and North Jersey by 7 o'clock tomorrow morning.

Clouds and maybe some sunshine in parts of the state on Saturday afternoon.  I'm not sure about that.  Highs will be in the upper 50s and low 60s.

Clouds and some sunshine for Sunday and cooler with highs in the 40s to near 50.
