Tentative Deal Reached With State Worker Union
Gov. Chris Christie says he's reached a tentative agreement on a four-year contract with the state's largest public employee union.
Christie said Friday that the specifics of the contract would be released next week.
The contract for 35,000 state CWA employees expired June 30.
The current agreement would go into effect July 1 if ratified by the full union membership.
The yearlong negotiations have often been contentious.
