Striking Taj Mahal workers can't have it both ways

We had a passionate hour of calls regarding the striking workers at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City who now want the ability to collect unemployment benefits.

Are you kidding me? If you want to strike, fine. If you want to strike AND collect unemployment benefits? No. Making the decision to go on strike comes with consequences. One of the consequences is that you're not going to be getting paid.

What's to stop workers from just going on strike and going on a long-term holdout and collecting unemployment? It could happen.

I don't have a problem with union workers striking to better their lives. But you can't have it both ways.
