Police have charged a Newark man in a shooting inside a city restaurant that killed one person and injured two others.

Essex County authorities say a shooting in Newark that left one man dead and another critically wounded may have been spurred by a robbery involving drugs.

A 14-year-old Jersey City boy has been charged in the shooting death of his 12-year-old half-brother. Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio says the boy, whose name was not disclosed, was charged with aggravated manslaughter, hindering and a weapons offense. He faces an initial court hearing Thursday.
