Gov. Chris Christie's speech at the League of Municipalities apparently didn't sit well with many here in the Garden State. One person who voiced their displeasure is also one of New Jersey's most prominent entrepreneurs.

Steve Kalafer, owner of Flemington Car & Truck County and the Somerset Patriots baseball team, called the show Friday to give his thoughts on whether Christie's time at the helm of the state may need to end.

"I love this state but it's becoming pretty tough to love," Kalafer said.

I have said many times on the show that I think the governor is doing more harm than good at this point and that the state would be in very capable hands if Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno took over. So I asked Steve directly if he thinks it is time for Christie to step aside.

Kalafer said that at this point the governor has to talk with his people, have an honest conversation with them and ask if they can still serve effectively.

"I think the answer is going to be no," Kalafer said.

Kalafer then continued with a very telling statement: "I think he should retire, go forward with his next career. I don't want to be optioned any further, I didn't sign up for that and I don't think many other people did, either."
