Spadea: On Election Day, NJ residents need to vote no on question 2
Election Day is here and for New Jersey residents it's not just about Trump vs. Hillary. Yes, voting for the next president is a priority but there is another battle taking center stage right here in the Garden State.
The debate over ballot question #2 has come to the forefront of this year's election cycle with lobbyists on both sides of the issue spending millions to sway your vote.
If you're still steaming mad like I am that our politicians passed the 23-cent-per-gallon gas tax hike, then you need to #VoteNoOnTwo. If ballot question 2 is shot down, it sends a clear message to our legislators in Trenton: The political elite cannot have their way in this state. We don't want $12 billion more in debt.
We're tired of the misspending and politicians lining their pockets on the taxpayers' backs. Voting no on ballot question 2 sends a message loud and clear that we're tired of this and it stops now!
