Southside Johnny: Asbury Park is still a vibrant scene

What does a legendary NJ musician like Southside Johnny think about the Asbury Park music scene?

When Southside was on my show to promote his new cd "Soultime!," I asked him about the NJ music scene and if could ever be quite like the days of when acts like, Springsteen, Little Steven Van Zandt and of course, Johnny and the Asbury Jukes became major names. Johnny still has very high hopes for the Asbury music scene. "There are people who have come out of the Asbury scene that have done well.  it is still a very vibrant scene. There are a number of clubs to still play at. "
