High temperatures yesterday were not nearly as mild as I had predicted.  I thought we would to get to 65 to 70, but we didn't get any warmer than 63 or 64 at Newark and Trenton.

The normal high is 62 or 63.

Today, we should see returning sunshine after early clouds and spotty light rain ends.  It will be 65 to perhaps 70s this afternoon, but cooler near the ocean.

Tonight will be clear with some 40s, maybe even a few NW Jersey 30s, but close to 50 or so along the south coast.

Sunshine for most of Friday with highs in the low 70s, but cooler near the ocean.

Then, it goes downhill for the weekend, although we do need some rain.  Some showers should develop Saturday, but I'm not sure how much.  At least, some shower activity should be around, though.  Saturday's highs will be in the 60s.

Now, Sunday is a forecast challenge because one forecast model has it clearing out Saturday evening with a partly to mostly sunny, dry Sunday.  While another forecast model that I trust more than the other has possible rain.  So, I am leaning with that for the moment.

Clouds and possible rain Sunday with highs back in the 60s.
