At 11 a.m. this morning (7/17) there will be a press conference detailing a wide-spread fraud within the state school lunch program. Senator Mike Doherty called in to Jim's show this morning to detail what State Comptroller Matt Boxer, has found out, not only in the reduced lunch program as well as other programs around the state.

What the senator stressed is that the fraud in the free lunch program is not something that should be taken lightly and needs to stop. It's anywhere from $5,000-$6,000 per student coming out of the taxpayer's pocket.If you break it down, it is hundreds of millions of dollars being sent to students that may not even be eligible for the program.

The senator stressed that we need to continue to educate the people of NJ and teach them as the reasons as to why their state taxes are so high.
