'It's critically important' to save the Princeton Battlefield

As you've heard on the show over the past week or so, I've been leading the charge to preserve the hallowed Princeton Battle Grounds. Today, I got support from members of the New Jersey's Senate and Assembly.

I spoke with Senator Kip Bateman this morning who said that "It's critically important" to keep the Princeton Battle Grounds sacred. The goal right now is for the NJ DEP to put a stay on the permits to build on the grounds until a lawsuit to preserve the grounds can be finalized. "There's so many other sites in and around Princeton that they could build this housing on, I just think it's outrageous."

When discussing the preservation of the land Bateman says " I think this is so important to the history of New Jersey and Princeton in general."
