The couple that got engaged at the Union County College commencement ceremony appeared on Fox 5's Good Day New York on Monday.

Sean Williams popped the question to Joana Acosta from the podium as he delivered a speech. "Yes!" she screamed as applause and cheers broke out from the approximately 1,100 graduates and their friends.

The couple met last year while Williams was working as an English tutor and filming a movie in which Costa played his girlfriend.
