Jim Salmon, a spokesman for the Delaware River and Bay Authority, says an authority police officer arrested 39-year-old Mary Shiveler of West Deptford on Saturday afternoon. He says police got notice from an automated license plate reader that Shiveler was crossing the bridge.

She was charged with multiple counts of toll evasion and released on $1,000 unsecured bail.

The News Journal of Wilmington reports that a toll of $4 for cars is charged entering Delaware.
