The state Attorney General's Office has filed a five-county civil lawsuit against Global Travel Solutions LLC and its owner, Jason Krieck, alleging violations of the state's consumer fraud act. Besides seeking to freeze the firm's assets and shut down its website, the state also seeks temporary restraining orders barring the firm from advertising for or selling memberships.

A message left for the firm, which maintained addresses in Montvale and Haddonfield, was not immediately returned Monday. A phone number for Krieck could not be located.

The state's consumer affairs division has received 54 complaints about the company.
