A listener of the Jim Gearhart show caught an interesting note while looking at the entry rules for the National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest.

The contest is not open to anyone who lives in: Cuba, Iran, New Jersey, North Korea, Sudan, or Syria. At first glance this may seem like an error, but it is a valid restriction! The website explains that the contest is void in the Garden State because a "New Jersey does not allow operation of a skill contest that requires an entry fee." Who knew?

Are there any other interesting laws that you know of? Tell us in the comment section below.
