High temperatures Monday reached 60 degrees in several spots; Newark, Trenton, and Mount Holly in Burlington County.  So, the upper 50s, 58 or 59, was close enough for government work.  Remember that the high temperature should only be 45 to 47.  So, once again, for what seems like the thousandth time this winter...it was way above normal.

Today it will be cooler with temperature in the upper 40s and low 50s; 48 to 52, but it will be mostly sunny most of the day.

And then it will become partly to mostly cloudy tonight with some lows in the 30s, but closer to 40 along the south coast.  No precipitation tonight, that will develops tomorrow.

Mostly rain in South Jersey tomorrow, but a wintry mix or some sun could start in Central and especially Northern New Jersey.

There's a chance of an inch or two in the far Northwest corner of the state before changing to mainly rain during the course of tomorrow afternoon.  Highs Wednesday in the 30s, but some 40s along the south coast and in South Jersey.

Cloudy to partly sunny Thursday and unseasonably mild again in the low 60s.
