We predicted low 60s yesterday and it reached 64 in Newark, Trenton, Atlantic City, and Wrightstown, Burlington County.  That's every bit of 15 degrees or a shade more above the normal high of 48 or 49.

But, of course, what else is new during this winter season.

Today will be an incredibly warm day with sunshine and clouds, and highs from 68 to 72, but probably 15 to 20 degrees cooler along the coast with a gusty south wind.

Some showers will move in during tonight, but probably not until later in southern and coastal counties.  Low will be in the mid 40s to low 50s by dawn tomorrow morning.

Clouds break for sunshine on Friday, but cooler highs just in the low 50s or so during the afternoon.

It will be even cooler still on Saturday as it becomes partly sunny.  Most highs on Saturday may only be in the 40s.

Then, some sunshine on Sunday with temperatures back in the 50s away from the ocean.

It will be in the low 60s by Monday, and well into the 60s, if not near 70, by the middle part of next week.
