For the second time in a week, democratic incumbent U.S. Senator Bob Menendez faced off against GOP challenger Joe Kyrillos - this time at the New Jersey 101.5 studios.

The live debate - which was frequently contentious and argumentative - featured questions from News Director Eric Scott, listeners as well as those watching online - and it covered several topics, including how best to help the middle class and create jobs, illegal immigration, marriage equality, ending the war in Afghanistan and women's health care.

On several occasions, State Senator Kyrillos tried to tie Senator Menendez to the policies of the former Governor Jon Corzine, while Mendendez attempted to link Kyrillos to the legacy of former President George W. Bush.

The candidates repeatedly argued with each other, making accusations and continuing to talk over one another until they were verbally separated.

When Menendez and Kyrillos first debated six days ago at Montclair State University, their discussion was much more low key.
