But the investigation into the death of 32-year-old Erika Pelandis remains ongoing.

Linwood police went to Pelandis' home around 7 p.m. Sunday after family members reported they could not contact her. Officers found her body at the bottom of the pool.

Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain says a preliminary autopsy conducted Monday determined that the married mother of two young children died from asphyxia due to drowning.
