Authorities say a southern New Jersey woman arrested after a domestic dispute call slipped out of her handcuffs and drove off in a police cruiser. But 35-year-old Danyl Fontanez of Lindenwold was stopped about five minutes after she drove off.

The Courier-Post reports the incident began shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday.

Fontanez told officers there was no longer a problem at the home, then became agitated when they told her they had to investigate.

Authorities say Fontanez initially kept officers from entering the home, then became obstructive as they conducted interviews. She was handcuffed and put in the patrol car.

When officers went back in the home, Fontanez slipped out of the handcuffs and allegedly kicked out the partition. She then climbed into the front seat and drove off.
