I have to share a great day I recently had at Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach. It's so much fun for families — plenty of activities from the waterpark to arcades, rides and go carts. And the layout is perfect for parents who need to keep an eye on everyone.

A 5,860-square-foot wave pool sprawls below the mountain golf course, a lazy river gently flows, and, of course, there are fun and thrilling slides. Revere's Wild Ride has plenty of twists and turns. Patriot's Plunge is a six-lane race slide, and Salem's Scream is the NEW aqua drop free fall.

Meanwhile, Lighthouse Cove has a slide just for those 6 and younger.

Inside Breakwater Beach, there's Dockside Grill and two Dippin' Dots locations and plenty more options nearby at Casino Pier: Waffles & Ice Cream, Curley Fries, Pier Grill, Lemonade Stand and another Dippin' Dots.
