Herald Weekly recently released a list of "The Worst Schools in the U.S: You’ve Been Warned."

14 New York Schools Among "Worst" In America

The website says some of these "worst schools" are about "as helpful as having a summer job flipping burgers."

Fourteen schools from New York State made the list, including a few from the Hudson Valley.

The schools made the list for a number of reasons including; lawsuits, a "sky-high drop-out rate,"  and graduates left with "thousands of dollars of debt."

"They all have a rotten reputation," the article states.
