Authorities say an infant was among seven people hurt when three vehicles collided just outside the Holland Tunnel.

But none of the injuries suffered in Sunday's hit-and-run crash in Jersey City were considered serious.

A Port Authority of New York and New Jersey spokesman says the crash occurred around 11:35 a.m. One of the vehicles involved endedup on its side and had to be towed from the scene, but the accident did not cause major traffic disruptions in the area.

The driver who apparently caused the chain-reaction collision fled the scene and remained at large late Sunday afternoon. The cause of the accident also remained under investigation.

The seven injured people were being treated at hospitals. But further details on their injuries were not disclosed.
