Thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel holidays of the year, so Foursquare released the list of busiest rest stops in the country, grouped by region.

As reported in USA Today, in the Northeast, four of the ten busiest are in New Jersey, and they are all on the Turnpike. The highest ranking, and therefore, busiest in the Garden State, is the Thomas Edison rest stop in Woodbridge; we also have numbers 6 and 7, with the Molly Pitcher Service Area in Cranbury, and the Vince Lombardi Service Area in Ridgefield following behind. The final New Jersey entrant is the Joyce Kilmer Service Area in East Brunswick.

Unfortunately, USA Today didn't include the number of visitors each rest stop had or the busiest day of the year for each of them. In case you were wondering, the busiest rest stop in the Northeast is in Delaware at the Delaware Welcome Center Travel Plaza, followed by one in Maryland and two on the PA Turnpike.
