Police in Franklin Township say the year-old schnauzer-poodle mix named Pepper has been recovered.

A woman had reported finding her Hunt Road home had been broken into on Tuesday and her dog stolen, along with some jewelry, a laptop and a tablet computer.

Investigators believe the burglar entered the home through an unlocked rear door.

Sgt. Phil Rizzo tells the Courier News on Friday that two suspects had been taken into custody.

Police did not release their names or say whether they had been charged.
