It was Bill Parcells who grew up under the nose of the New York Giants that would lead them to their first two Super Bowls and then take the New England Patriots to one, the New York Jets to a championship game, the Dallas Cowboys to the playoffs and finally turn around a Miami Dolphins program that would see them win the AFC eastern division with former Jet Chad Pennington, a Parcells pick, behind center.

Parcells won those championships with Jersey attitude. He used his Jersey street smarts and wit combined with incredible knowledge of  the game to coach each of his players in their own special way of how to get through to them.

Many of those that coached under Parcells have gone on to greatness in their own right. Bill Belichick, Parcells' defensive coordinator on those Super Bowl winning Giant teams and the Super Bowl losing Patriots would go to win three Super Bowls with the New England Patriots.  Tom Coughlin, who coached the Giants receivers on that 1990 Super Bowl winning Giants team, would coach Big Blue to Super Bowls in 2007 and 2011.

Parcells will be inducted Saturday night by former Giant George Martin,
