And if you were worried, take solace that people in Santa Cruz, California, and perhaps elsewhere, fretted about the same thing.

The image has been galloping through cyberspace in addition to showing up on poles.

Coast Guard operators in the Point Pleasant Beach-Manasquan station have sent it to their investigative team to determine the source.

They tell us that they received no reports from swimmers or boaters about shark activity.
