A rainfall record was set at Newark Liberty Airport yesterday.  1.5 inches of rain broke the old record of just 6/10 set in 1991.  Trenton fell a little bit short with 1.37, missing the old mark of 2 inches that was set all the way back in 1900.

High temperatures yesterday were a little bit short of my 60 degree readings, and most of those temperatures were reached in the morning.  It was in the 50s in parts of the state.

Today, wind is the story with 25 to 35 mph and gusts from 40 to 50 possible.  There's clouds and some sunshine after the threat of an early passing shower with temperatures settling into the 40s.

It's colder tonight with a brisk wind continuing, and statewide lows from the mid 20s to lower 30s.

A mix of sun and clouds with a brisk wind again with highs in the upper 30s to perhaps 40, but probably not out of the 30s on Saturday.

Sunny but cold Sunday with highest temperatures no better than the low to middle 30s.
